Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

Reliable and transparent shop with honest people who treat your equipment, money and time like it is their own. Have stayed late at night to finish my truck for me when I have showed up last second and needed it the next day. Routine maintenance to performance they have your back! I wouldnโt take my truck elsewhere and would refer anyone to see what Mikes shop can do for you!

I donโt usually leave reviews, but this one feels earned. I was back in my hometown, playing responsible adult as the DD while out for girls night. Around 3 AM (yes, 3 AM ๐ ), weโre heading out when my tire pressure light comes on. Not idealโฆ but we confidently said, โWe got this.โ Cut to: us at Stewartโs, below zero temperatures, trying to use the air pump like the independent women we areโฆ and somehow managing to make things significantly worse. Instead of fixing it, we accidentally let ALL the remaining air out of the tire. Something broke and it was fully flat. Completely deflated and defeated. After a brief moment of panic (and a little bit of laughing at ourselves), we called Mike, who has a shop right around the corner from Stewartโs, fully expecting voicemail at that hour. He answered. At 3 AM. Like a legend. Not only that, he calmly asked if we could roll the car over, met us there immediately, and fixed everything on the spot. No attitude, no annoyance, just pure kindness and professionalism, even while dealing with a group of sleep-deprived girls giggling about how we got ourselves into this situation. He took the tire off, reinflated it, fixed the issue, and got us

Well, I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Mike's Diesel Repair for getting my truck fixed right and back on the road. I sent my truck in there with a laundry list of bullshit that needed to be done. They were happy to do all the work, of course!! but the part Iโm most happy with is they went above and beyond, and looked into other things that caused my issues I was having with my truck. They didnโt just fix what I asked them to fix knowing that the truck was gonna come back in a couple months with something else wrong with it. They took the time and fixed it right so hopefully I donโt have to see them for a few years ๐๐

Mikes a good mechanic but a poor business man I brought in my 13 ram 6.7 cummins with an cylinder 5 manifold leak. Mike did the repair and the truck was great for 3k miles. I than found a leak on the turbo flange. Mike was going to warranty the work than told me that the manifold was warped. I ask him what he recommended for a manifold and to get a quote together for the parts. Mike wanted to charge me an additional 9 hours labor to install the new manifold. I offered to pay for 1/2 of the labor and he refused. I thought i was fair enough and was really hoping to use mike for other repairs but I pulled the truck from the shop all apart and repaired it my self.

Best diesel mechanic around! Very honest and up front with whatever the vehicle needs. People complain about waiting it seems but to me it's because he's so busy. Big jobs like like internal engine repairs or engine replacements arent just a 20 minute pil change. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and meticulous mechanic, this is the place.
